May 8th, 2008 -Boards have been wiped and weather updated.


January 19, 2008 - There has been a minor revision of the CBox rules to include rules and info for the new SZL Chatroom. Please read to make sure you're up to date on the chat rules!


January 4, 2008 - Edited some of the main Pack listings to include a Runners rank. This rank is for wolves who are on trial status with the pack, but not fully accepted yet. It just helps keep track of everyone waiting for acceptance. Other pack alphas may use this if they wish.


December 14, 2007 - Arlen and Gypsonite have been blessed with a litter of 5 puppies! =D As you know, one pup was placed up for adoption, and we were allowing players to audition for it. Congratulations to Glyph for winning the 5th pup!


December 6, 2007 - Just added a new Adventure Suggestion sub-board to the Weeping Caverns. If you have any ideas for adventures, any at all, please post them! It's a big help. Also, if you're interested in adopting one of Arlen and Gypsonite's puppies, we're still taking applications on the Bulletin Board, but only for a little while longer! Act quickly!

A healthy amount of snow covers the ground, only about six inches deep so far as the sun dips below the horizon for a good six months. The ice bridge to the main land and Chimarook Island has formed but it still very thin and dangerous to cross and the herd animals are migrating south.

CBox & Chatroom Rules

The SZL CBox and Chatroom are instant-message chat windows that allow game members to meet and talk with one another and share news.
The CBox is an applet window located at the bottom of SZL's main page, and members use it for small chats and sharing game news.
Below the CBox is a link to SZL's Chatroom, which is a bigger, separate chatroom where members can have longer conversations, games, and private chats.
Both chat windows have been provided for your enjoyment, so please use them properly, and use proper conduct when talking to your fellow members. To prevent problems with the chatrooms, we have laid down a few simple rules and guidelines:


  • Do not flood or spam the CBox or the Chatroom.
  • Mild profanity is permitted, but please try to keep your messages decent and unoffensive, around a PG - PG-13 rating.
  • Flaming is forbidden! Do not start flame wars or arguments in the CBox or the Chatroom, or you will be temporarily sitebanned!
  • Advertising is not allowed on the CBox or the Chatroom. If you want to advertise, please go to the "Links & Affiliates" board.
  • We STRONGLY discourage members from using the CBox for private chats (chats between 1-2 members only). This can cause unecessary spam, and make it harder for other members to communicate. For private chats, please use the SZL Chatroom.
